I salute this initiative”pioneers for change- Political Leadership Development Programme.” Besides, I would like to congratulate you for supporting the call for postponement of the National Youth Council Elections from May 16 2011 to a later date.
My recommendations on the NYC elections:
1. that the process should be transparent and guarantee free, fair and democratic elections.
2. that the elections be conducted by the Electoral Management Body in Kenya.
3. that voter education on the NYC elections should be conducted prior to the youth elections and
4. that a domestic observer group (like ELOG) need to participate in this election.
Kindly also note that I am a Youth aged 33 years and an interested stakeholder in the NYC elections as a registered voter in Township Sub-location in Kitui County. Please keep us informed on any consultative fora by the PLDP to enable us share our input.
