  4. Okoth Opande says:

The voter education in the just to begin Elections is generally poor with many youths saying they don’t know! we must endeavor to do things better in the next elections. That reminds me how many years do office bearers have in office.

  5. P.M.Mutua says:

The Star on Sato indicated that voter registration has been extended does that also affect the elections?

  6. kariuki joseph gachoka says:

we are campaigning, youths no know what is this all about so we are the ones carrying out the civic education kind off. are there good plans and good cordination for this elections. can we do things better than this.

  7. Joseph Ngila says:

what are the responcebilities of those to be elected

  8. JOHN MUNDUI says:

Hi, i wonder if this is another wider scheme to deliberately bait the youth into making wrong political choices. At such a time when we are approaching 2012 elections we need to be extra careful and treat everything with suspicion and until all mechanisms and structures devoid of political manipulations otherwise we fall victims reminiscent of the 1992 YK, Jeshi la Mzee 1997, 2007 ODM youth campaigners, PNU Kazi iendelee 2007 etc. I might look odd to some people but this strategy might be apparently used to propel individuals to echelons of power. Otherwise clear the air on this vague issue although it is originating from the ministry of youth. We have earlier seen individuals from ministries participate or facilitate campaigns and may i hope this is not orchestrated to meet political agenda.
Anyone with such sentiments like mine to contribute.

  10. Manasess says:

I share in Mundui’s concerns. As a candidate in the up coming elections within Muhoroni Division,It is outrightly unacceptable to note that officials from the Ministry of Youth in this area are not only contestant but are as well participating in voters registrations.Something should be done to make this exercise credible here!

  11. peter oroiyo kipchumba says:

this may be the dawn for the better for the youths or a prey project as a dawn for the worst for the youths, led us pray for the better to come our way

  12. gathuka says:

the government isnt serious on this issue i calll upon all likeminded youths to vote wisely

  13. michael kimani says:

being on of the contestant from Kikuyu constituency,I’d urge the youth we make USE OF THIS OPPORTUNITY TO VOICE OUR DEMAND FOR GENERATIONAL CHANGE IN THE LEADERSHIP OF THIS COUNTRY,LETS NOT COMPROMISE OUR VIRTUES FOR GO-GETTER WHO CANT EVEN RESPOND TO OUR PLEA.YOUTHS ,LETS MAKE A WISE DECISION

  14. Rugut Geoffrey says:

Generally, many youths are not aware of what is going on. Not enough mobilisation was done.

  16. felix muli says:

What are the responsibilities for the elected officials? any remuneration? what is the age limit for those wishing to participate in the proccess or vie for office? who will fund the operations of the organisation?

  17. Steve says:

The whole process is a sham. I am very angered by our corrupt leaders who want to use youths as a stepping stone.

    – where are the rules guiding the election?

    – why do you want to teach youths rigging at this tender age?

    – why were even standard two pupils, like the case of Kombura in Kisumu East District be elected as youth representative?

This is what i refer to as irresponsible governance. Shame

  18. Ngesa says:

Am from Mombasa Kisauni I support the cancellation of eletion because Kisauni Youth officers only knew and still know youth groups but not induvidual youths who are not in groups. They were the ones who were registrars, clerks etc.Shame on you 100 times

  19. Joel kipchumba says:
